The International Nomenclature Commitee assigned INCI names to Copalis new Sea Plant Peptides

COPALIS recently developed new cosmetic active peptides from innovative raw materials: plants that are not seaweed but quite close, halophyte plants.Halophytes are plants traditionally found by the sea shore. The marine environment specificity gives halophytes the ability to resist to harsh environmental conditions. Halophyte plants have therefore developed unique biological strategies that COPALIS now puts at the cosmetics industry disposal.

Sea Lavender Peptides, Sea Fennel Peptides and Sea Beet Peptides are sustainably produced from the cultivation of the plants to the extraction process. In-vitro testing has been conducted to demonstrate their cosmetic activities: antioxidant action against UV radiation, anti-redness, skin whitening.
